670–671. Caleb Mix was born in New Haven Colony on Sunday, December 15, 1661, and died on August 12, 1708. Hannah Chedsey was born in New Haven Colony on Friday, January 9, 1663, and died on December 11, 1693. He is the son of Thomas and Rebecca (Turner) Meekes. She is the daughter of John and Elizabeth (_____) Chedsey. They had three children:

| ii. | Caleb Mix was born in New Haven on September 27, 1687, and died in New Haven on January 30, 1765. On December 20, 1716, in New Haven, he married Rebecca Thompson, daughter of John and Rebecca (Daniel) Thompson. | |
| iii. | Hannah Mix: She was born about 1691 and died February 15, 1739/40, age 48. She married Ebenezer Beecher. |
His second marriage was to Mary Bradley. She was born on Wednesday, March 13, 1672. She is the daughter of Nathan and Hester (Griswold) Bradley. They had four children:

| iv. | Esther Mix was born in New Haven on December 31, 1702, and died Westfield, New Jersey Colony. She married Nathaniel Hubbell on March 5, 1721/22. |
