Walter Gilbert Genealogy: Joseph Phippeny & Mehitabel Fairchild

66–67. Joseph Phippeny was born in Stratford, Connecticut, on Thursday, June 11, 1730. Mehitabel Fairchild was born in Stratford on Wednesday, July 24, 1734. They were married on Thursday, March 29, 1759. She took the name Mehitabel Phippeny. He is the son of Benjamin and Rebecca (Bostwick) Phippeny. She is the daughter of James and Abigail (Beardsley) Fairchild. They had two children:

i.	Eunice Phippeny [#33]: She was born in 1758, baptized in Unity Parish (now Trumbull), Connecticut, on March 23, 1760, and died in Portage County, Ohio, on October 17, 1840.
ii.	Charity Phippeny
