642–643.  Daniel Beardsley was born in Stratford, Connecticut, in 1643-1644, and died in Stratford on October 7, 1730. His tombstone gives this date of death and his age as 86. Ruth Goodwin was born in Milford?, Connecticut, on Tuesday, September 2, 1662, and died in Connecticut on May 4, 1732. He is the son of William and Mary (Harvie) Beardsley. She is the daughter of Thomas and Ruth (Rogers) Goodwin. They had nine children:

i. John Beardsley was born in Stratford on August 18, 1681, and died in Stratford on November 7, 1732.
ii. Daniel Beardsley was born in Stratford on October 17, 1684, and died in Stratford in 1766.
iii. Zechariah Beardsley was born in Stratford on November 13, 1686, and died in Huntington, Connecticut, on September 17, 1748.
iv. Ruth Beardsley was born in Stratford on October 13, 1688. She died young.
v. Nathan Beardsley was born in Stratford and died in Stratford in 1760.
vi. Samuel Beardsley was born in Stratford.
vii. Rebecca Beardsley [#321]: She was born about 1696, and died on December 16, 1754.
viii. Obadiah Beardsley was born in Stratford and died in Connecticut in 1754.
ix. Sarah Beardsley was baptized in Stratford on July 23, 1704.

Daniel was a farmer.
