640–641.  John Judson was born in Stratford, Connecticut, on Friday, December 10, 1647, and died in Woodbury, Connecticut, on January 12, 1709/10. Elizabeth Chapman was born _____, and died about 1695. They were married in Stratford on Thursday, March 12, 1673/4. She took the name Elizabeth Judson. He is the son of Joseph, (Capt.) and Sarah (Porter) Judson. She is the daughter of John and Martha (Lawrence) Chapman. They had nine children:

i. John Judson was born in Stratford on March 12, 1675/6, and died in Woodbury on April 6, 1722.
ii. Joshua Judson was born in Stratford on January 23, 1677/8, and died in Stratford on November 27, 1735.
iii. Joseph Judson was born in Stratford on October 24, 1679, and died in Woodbury on March 22, 1758.
iv. Chapman Judson was baptized in Woodbury on December 11, 1681, and died on May 8, 1700.
v. Jonathan Judson was baptized in Woodbury on December 24, 1682.
vi. Jonathan Judson was baptized in Woodbury on December 28, 1684, and died on May 16, 1727.
vii. Martha Judson was baptized in Woodbury on December 19, 1686. She married (Col.) William Preston in June, 1705, in Stratford, Connecticut.
viii. Eliphalet Judson was baptized in Woodbury on February 17, 1688/9.
ix. Ephraim Judson, (Dea.) [#320]: He was baptized in Connecticut on September 29, 1694, and died in Huntington, Connecticut, on November 14, 1782.

His second marriage was to Hannah Howkins. She was born in Farmington, Connecticut, about 1661, and died in Woodbury on July 23, 1698. She was the widow of Jonathan Nichols and Samuel Ward. Her father was Anthony Howkins. They had no children.

His third marriage was to Mary Tudor on Wednesday, July 5, 1699. She took the name Mary Judson. She died on February 9, 1743. She was the widow of John Orton. They had four children:

i. Isaac Judson was born in Stratford on June 3, 1700, and died on May 14, 1789.
ii. Daniel Judson was born in Stratford on September 6, 1701, and died on December 29, 1766. He may have been born on September 7, 1701.
iii. Mary Judson was born in Stratford on April 11, 1703. She married Josiah Curtis on November 28, 1727, in Stratford, Connecticut.
iv. Jeremiah Judson was born in Stratford on October 31, 1705, and died in 1787.
