Walter Gilbert Genealogy: Michael Kelchner & Elizabeth Roth

392–393. Michael Kelchner was born in Berks County, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday, January 1, 1733/4, and died in Schoenerville, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, on April 22, 1820. Elizabeth Roth was born in Pennsylvania on Monday, October 1, 1744, and died on February 12, 1826. They were married in Pennsylvania on Tuesday, May 1, 1759. She took the name Elizabeth Kelchner. They had seven children:

i.	Michael Keltner [#196]: He was born in Northampton County, Pennsylvania, on January 25, 1760, and died in Harrison Township, Union County, Indiana, on April 19, 1833.
ii.	Christopher Keltner was born in 1766.
iii.	Mary Magdelene Keltner was born in 1768.
iv.	Peter Keltner was born in 1771.
v.	Katherine Keltner was born in 1776.
vi.	John Keltner was born in 1778.
vii.	George Keltner was born in 1780.

Michael served as private and corporal in the Northampton County, Pennsylvania, militia in the 1st Battalion of the Revolutionary War.
