338432–338433.  Griffith ap Llewelyn was born in Wales in—say—1330, and died between September 20, 1397 and September 20, 1399. His wife was Efa Madoc He is the son of Llewelyn a and Nesta (Nest) Griffith. They had one child:

i. Einion ap Griffith [#169216]: He was born in Wales in—say—1350.

Griffith (Griffydd) was of Cors-y-Gedol, and Farmer (lessee) of the office of Sheriff of Merioneth, 46 Edward III (1373); Sheriff 15 Richard II (1392); Woodwarden of the Commote of Estimaner at some period between July 7, 1382, and October 12, 1385. He and Efa were married in county Crynlarth.

Efa was the daughter of Madoc ap Ellis of Crynlarth. She was the sister and co-heiress of Llewelyn ap Madoc, Bishop of St. Asaph 1357–75, derived from Owain Brogyntyn, Lord of Edeirnion.
