334–335.  Caleb Alling was born in New Haven, Connecticut Colony, on Friday, September 7, 1694, baptized in New Haven on Sunday, September 9, 1694, and died in New Haven on December 19, 1756. Hannah Bishop was born in New Haven on Thursday, September 3, 1696, and died in New Haven on December 19, 1719. They were married in New Haven on Thursday, March 19, 1719. She took the name Hannah Alling. He is the son of Samuel and Sarah (Chedsey) Alling. She is the daughter of Samuel and Hannah (Yale) Bishop. They had one child:

i. Samuel Alling was born in New Haven on December 1, 1719, and died on December 3, 1719. He lived only two days. It must have been a devestating childbirth since his mother died 18 days after he was born.

His second marriage was to Thankful Mix. She was born in New Haven on Thursday, October 3, 1695. She is the daughter of Caleb and Mary (Bradley) Mix. They had five children:

i. Asa Alling was born in New Haven on January 18, 1723, and died in 1786. He married Anna Potter on 7 Sep 1749.
ii. Charles Alling was baptized in New Haven on August 2, 1724, and died on January 21, 1808. He married Hannah Dorman on 17 Jan 1753.
iii. Hannah Alling was born in New Haven on July 24, 1725, and baptized on July 26, 1725.
iv. Rhoda Alling [#167]: She was born in New Haven on September 23, 1727, and died about 1756.
v. Caleb Alling was born in New Haven on May 8, 1731, and died on July 24, 1731.

His third marriage was to Hannah Alling in New Haven on Wednesday, January 30, 1745. She was born in New Haven on Thursday, October 20, 1709, and died on January 4, 1793. She was buried in Hamden Plains Cemetery, Highwood, Hamden, Connecticut. She is the daughter of Samuel and Sarah (Sackett) Alling. They had three children:

i. Caleb Alling was born in New Haven on September 17, 1746, baptized on January 5, 1747, and died on November 25, 1823. December 5, 1765, he married Lois Dorman.
ii. Hannah Alling was born in New Haven and baptized on March 19, 1749. She probably died in infancy.
iii. Hannah Alling was born in New Haven on October 23, 1753, baptized on February 11, 1753, and died on September 7, 1789. She married first Dweight Hamlin and second Solomon Phipps on February 3, 1788.
