326–327. Daniel Sherwood was born in Fairfield, Connecticut, on Monday, April 5, 1708, and died in Greenfield, Connecticut, on February 20, 1784. Martha Hull was born in Greenfield on Sunday, June 15, 1701, and died in Redding, Connecticut, on September 19, 1782. They were married about 1727. She took the name Martha Sherwood. He is the son of Samuel Sherwood. She is the daughter of Cornelius and Sarah (Sanford) Hull. They had nine children:
