270–271.  Daniel Beardsley was born in Stratford, Connecticut, on Monday, April 3, 1671, and died in Stratford. His will was proved on February 7, 1738. Rebecca Jackson was born in Fairfield, Connecticut, on Sunday, May 10, 1674, and died in Stratford in 1703. She may have died in childbirth. They were married on Tuesday, December 3, 1695. She took the name Rebecca Beardsley. He is the son of Samuel and Abigail (Clark) Beardsley. She is the daughter of Moses and Deborah (Hyatt) Jackson. They had six children:

i. David Beardsley was born in Stratford, Fairfield, Connecticut, on August 28, 1696, and died on March 15, 1726/7. He married Rebecca _____.
ii. Ruth Beardsley: David's twin, born August 28, 1696, in Stratford.
iii. Benjamin Beardsley was born in Bridgeport, Fairfield, Connecticut, in December, 1698, and died in 1761. He married Deborah Summers.
iv. Abigail Beardsley [#135]: She was baptized in Stratford on March 31, 1700.
v. Samuel Beardsley was born in Stratfield, Fairfield, Connecticut, on January 17, 1703, and died on August 9, 1760. He married Eunice Brown on 17 May 1737.
vi. Sarah Beardsley was born in Stratfield on July 23, 1704. She married William Stannard on 11 Aug 1726.

His second marriage was to Ann Seeley in Stratfield on Thursday, August 10, 1704. She took the name Ann Beardsley. They had 11 children:

i. Ann Beardsley was baptized in Stratford on November 4, 1795.
ii. Rebecca Beardsley was baptized in Stratford on September 7, 1707.
iii. Jemima Beardsley was baptized in Stratford on June 19, 1709.
iv. Mary Beardsley was baptized in Stratford on June 10, 1711.
v. Sarah Beardsley was baptized in Stratford on July 12, 1713.
vi. Ruth Beardsley was baptized in Stratford on April 1, 1716.
vii. Jerusha Beardsley was baptized in Stratford on July 27, 1718.

ix. Robert Beardsley was baptized in Stratford on May 26, 1723.
x. Tabatha Beardsley
xi. Daniel Beardsley was baptized in Stratford on July 25, 1731.

Daniel's will was proved on February 7, 1737/8, and mentions his wife Ann, son Benjamin, daughter Abigail Fairchild, sons Robert and Daniel, daughter Ann, children of daughter Jemima, deceased: daughters Sarah, Rebecca, Jerusha, Esther and Tabatha.

On February 4, 1727/8, Daniel's children Mary, Sarah, Ruth, Jerusha, Esther, Robert, and Tabatha, chose him for guardian of the estate that fell to them by the death of their brother, David.
