2666–2667.  Michael Matthew Middlebrook of "Hold" Mills, Yorkshire, England was born in—say—1590, and died on December 31, 1616. His wife was Grace _____ The Todd Family in America gives children (order uncertain):

i. Michael Middlebrook
ii. Hester Middlebrook: She married Edward Wigglesworth.
iii. Grace Middlebrook [#1333]: She was baptized in Batley Parish, Yorkshire, England, on April 11, 1609, and died in New Haven, Connecticut Colony.
iv. Matthew Middlebrook was baptized in Batley Parish. He married Mary Cookson in 1637. They had four children: John, Mary, Matthew, and George. In July, 2002, Maxine Stansell wrote: ... a letter written by Michael Middlebrook, brother of Grace, Hester, etc., in 1657 and published in NEHGR [New England Historical and Genealogical Register] in 1857 refers to Matthew's "father Cookson" (meaning his father-in-law). The letter mentioned that father Cookson had died recently, and the parish register shows Christopher Cookson died in March 1657. I had someone at the NEHGS library review the original letter, and that person confirmed that the handwriting clearly showed the name to be "Cookeson." That fits with the 1637 parish register, which looks to say Cookison or Cookizon, but I think the name is most typically rendered "Cookson." [Note: The author originally had the name as "Bookson".]
v. Mary Middlebrook was baptized in Batley Parish in December, 1616.
