His wife was Ann Buss They were married in Stratford, Connecticut, on Tuesday, June 14, 1698. She took the name Ann Bostwick. He is the son of John and Mary (Brinsmade) Bostwick. She is the daughter of Nathaniel and Ann (Hayes (Haes)) Buss. They had six children:

Administration of the estate was granted to himself, the eldest son, and his mother, Ann. On March 6, 1726/7 the heirs were named as: Widow Ann; Abraham Bostwick, only surviving son; Hannah; Rebecca, wife of Benjamin Fippeny; Elisabeth; Eunice; and Abigail, wife of Johathan Hurd (she had received her full portion).
