169216–169217.  Einion ap Griffith was born in Wales in—say—1350. In Welsh "Griffith" was written "Griffydd". Tangwystl Rhydderch was born in Wales. Rhydderch was of Gogerddan, county Cardigan. He is the son of Griffith ap and Efa (Madoc) Llewelyn. She is the daughter of Rhydderch ap Ievan Lloyd. They had five children:

i. Iorwerth ap Einion: He lived in Ynys-y-Maengwyn, county, Merioneth, and in the Ville of Towne, where he was lessee of the Crown dues or revenues in 1415.
ii. Ievan ap Einion: He was progenitor of the Wynne's of Peniarth.
iii. Griffith ap Einion [#84608]: He was born in Wales in—say—1370.
iv. Mali Einion: She married first Howel Sele of Nanney (now Nannau), he was killed in the memorable duel with the renowned Owen Glyndwr; and second to Owen ap Meredith ap Griffith Vychan of Neuaddwen, Powysland. "Vychan" was written "Fychan" in Welsh.
v. Tibod Einion: She married first Howel ap Ievan ap Iorwerth of Cynlleath; second, Ievan Vychan ap Ievan Gethin of Abertannatt; and third, Howel ap Tudor ap Grono.

Einion ap Griffith succeeded his father to Cors-y-Gedol and was Captain of Forty Archers for the King from County Merioneth during the year 10 Richard II (1387). He was living at Michaelmas in 20 Richard II (1397).
