1538–1539.  Arthur Chambers was born in Ireland in—say—1645. His wife was _____ _____ They had three children:

i. Rebecca Chambers [#769]: She was born in the North of Ireland in—say—1667.
ii. Elizabeth Chambers: She married John Foster (or John Forster).
iii. John Chambers: He married Marguerite _____.

There is no proof that Rebecca Chambers ever married James Galbraith, only persistent family lore. Therefore, there is no evidence that this Arthur Chambers and his family are part of the Galbraith genealogy. To compound the speculation, the existence of the other two children, Elizabeth and John, is based on totally unsubstantianted information from Mary H.
