1336–1337.  Roger Alling was baptized in Kempston, Bedford, England, on Sunday, December 6, 1612, and died in New Haven, Connecticut Colony, on September 27, 1674. Mary Nash was born in Kempston about 1621, and died in New Haven on August 16, 1683. They were married about 1642. She took the name Mary Alling. He is the son of James and Margaret (Coppin) Alling. She is the daughter of Thomas and Margery (Baker) Nash. They had seven children:

i. Mary Allen was baptized in New Haven Colony on November 26, 1643, and died on March 18, 1715/6. She married Joseph Moss on 11 Apr 1667.
ii. Samuel Alling [#668]: He was baptized the New Haven Colony on November 4, 1645, and died in New Haven on August 28, 1709.
iii. John Alling was baptized in New Haven Colony on October 2, 1647, and died on March 25, 1717. He married Susanna Coe on 11 Jan 1671.
iv. Sarah Allen was baptized in New Haven Colony on October 12, 1649, and died in 1743. She married Joseph Peck on 28 Nov 1672. Among their children was a daughter, Sarah Peck, who married Thomas Gilbert on March 31, 1698, in New Haven. v. Elizabeth Allen was born in New Haven Colony about 1651.
vi. Susanna Allen was born in New Haven Colony about 1653.
vii. James Allen was born in New Haven Colony on June 24, 1657, and died on March 13, 1696. He married Elizabeth Cotton on 2 Jun 1690.

Roger Alling came to America in 1638 from Kempston, Bedford, England. He was a sergeant and the treasurer of the New Haven colony.

In 1661 or 1662 he appraised the estate of Thomas Jeffery, (Sgt.)
