130–131. Joseph Hurlbut of Judea Parish (now Washington), Connecticut was born in Woodbury, Connecticut Colony, on Wednesday, April 12, 1699. Martha Scott was born in Waterbury, Connecticut Colony, on Wednesday, July 9, 1701. They were married in Waterbury on Thursday, April 1, 1725. She took the name Martha Hurlbut. He is the son of Joseph and Mary (Castle) Hurlburt. She is the daughter of Jonathan and Hannah (Hawks) Scott. They had one child:

Mary Hurlbut [#65]: She was born in Waterbury, Connecticut, on June 12, 1732, and died on March 29, 1794.
