Walter Gilbert Genealogy: Thomas Bowne

1180–1181. Thomas Bowne was born in Matlock, Derbyshire, England, in 1595, and died probably Flushing, Long Island, New York, on June 18, 1677. His wife was _____ _____ They had three children:

i.	John Bowne [#590]: He was born in Matlock on May 9, 1627, and died in Flushing, Long Island, New York, on December 20, 1695.
ii.	Dorothy Bowne was born in Matlock and died probably Flushing on November 26, 1690. She married Henry Franklin in 1689 in Long Island.
iii.	Truth Bowne was born in Matlock. She did not emigrate to America.

Per the NEHGR, Thomas immigrated to Boston in about 1648 with son John and daughter Dorothy.
