Walter Gilbert Genealogy: Benjamin Carr & Martha Hardington

1168–1169. Benjamin Carr was born in London, England, on Friday, August 18, 1592, and died in London on June 4, 1672. Martha Hardington was born in London about 1592, and died in London on September 2, 1613. They were married in London on Thursday, September 2, 1613. She took the name Martha Carr. He is the son of William Carr. They had four children:

i.	Robert Carr was born probably in London, England, on October 4, 1614, and died in Newport, Rhode Island, on October 12, 1772. He was a tailor. He embarked on the Elizabeth and Ann on May 11, 1635, with his brother, Caleb; Robert was 21 and Caleb 11. See more information on Caleb's page. [Some details from the IGI.]
ii.	Richard Carr was born in London on January 5, 1620/1, and died in Salisbury, Massachusetts, in 1695. [Death information on this person from the IGI.]
iii.	Andrew Carr was born in London on December 5, 1622.
iv.	Caleb Carr [#584]: He was born in London on December 9, 1624, and died in America on December 17, 1695.
