Important Kodak Milestones(1935-1945)
      In a timeline form, this is a list of the important
Kodak milestones from 1935 to 1945.
1935- Kodachrome Film is introduced
to the public. It is the first commercially successful amateur color
film(Kodak,7).
1938- The first camera with a built-in photoelectric exposure control was
created.
1939- The Eastman Kodak Company begins a program which offers
scholarships and grants to college and university of students around the
country.
1941- Kodak begins to market the Kodak Ektra Camera. It had a
shutter-speed range from 1/1000 to 1 second. An extremely fast camera for
its time.
1942- Kodacolor Film for prints is introduced. It is the world's first
color negative film.
1945- The Eastman Kodak Company elects a new chairperson: Perley S.
Wilcox
