Prototype sandal. Upper formed of a wide red kid band cut at the edges to expose skin. | This is a very elegant and sexy shoe. It is typically known as a sandal because of its exposure of the foot. This sandal has a upper tie made from satin and Tavarnelle needlepoint lace. It is from 1935. Salvatore Ferragamo was the first to use the lace on shoes. |

If you look at the Greenbelt shoes, you can see that they have several similarities in that their heels are about the same height. Although, these shoes have been made from different material, they still could have been worn for the same occasions as the Greenbelt shoes. By looking at the Greenbelt shoes, you can see that they look conservative and do not show too much of the woman's foot. |
