I said I'd blog 'em! (If you hate one, I'll take it down. But it has to be of you. :>) I kept them reasonably small so the load time should be tenable.
Posthuman bar adventures:
Ed interfaces with the jukebox
Beth interfaces with the pool table
Joseph interfaces with the pool table
Kelly interfaces with Playboy Pinball
Matt interfaces with the pool table
I am beginning to realize that "interface" is no kind of verb, so here are people dealing with things other than technology (disregarding my camera, of course).
Ed, Ed's sister Alenda, and Alenda's boyfriend Brian are color-coordinated (and goofy)
Marc is about to ask for more gruel
Everybody looking like salty old pool professionals (yes, pool professionals are always blurry)
Posted by Jess at May 6, 2004 02:11 PMWell, one way or another we all drink the Kool-Aid.
Those are great Jess, thanks.
And: you may *not* take down that one of Marc, no matter what he says.
Posted by: Matt at May 6, 2004 02:37 PMWHOOO HOOO! Great pictures. Love 'em. Especially the Marc picture. :)
Posted by: ED at May 6, 2004 03:02 PMOh no.
Posted by: Marc at May 6, 2004 08:32 PM"Please, sir, can I have some more?"
Hee hee.
Though I think I like the one of Joseph playing pool the best, composition-wise.
Posted by: Jess at May 7, 2004 01:26 AMGreat Pictures Jess. I too like the one of Marc. Poor wittle puppy dog - nobody wuvs him.
I'm looking forward to working on the e-lit thing this summer. How does July 19 look for an Eastern Shore Party? Nobody does crabs and beer like us rednecks.
Posted by: Beth Keller at May 7, 2004 04:53 PMBy the way, kids, Darren Aronofsky is confirmed to direct "The Watchmen" next year. Didn't know where else to put this....
Posted by: Marc at May 8, 2004 11:55 AMGreat pics!
Yes, I am definitely the best, composition-wise.
Crabfest: July 19 is my birthday! Couldn't think of a better crowd to celebrate it with.
Classic pic of Marc. Marc, you should put it on your blog, right next to "THINGS AS THEY ARE."
Posted by: Joseph Byrne at May 8, 2004 01:18 PMMarc -- WATCHMEN Watchmen? Oh, unh-uh, sister. They can NOT go there. (I thought that movie was legendarily always "in pre-production" and never actually happening.)
Beth -- July 19 is too far in the future for me to have anything in my schedule, so crab away!
Posted by: Jess at May 8, 2004 02:08 PMBy the way, by "July 19" do you mean "June 19"? I ask because the former is a Monday.
Posted by: Jess at May 10, 2004 04:55 AMActually I meant July 17 - but in all honesty June 19 would work just as well. What does everyone want to do? I am at your service.
Beth
*massive giggles* My fav is the pic of Marc, followed by the Kool-aid. Those are so great!
And--Watchmen--uh oh. I have heard a lot of great things abt this but haven't read it yet (summer reading, I swear, next trip to the comic shop). Given what's being done to "Constantine"...I am scared.
Beth--any date is good for me. Um...Jess? Can I swing a ride from you?
Kell--in the midst of writing hell
Posted by: Kell at May 14, 2004 03:44 PMgreat joy being here..
