What Remains, 1930-2004

The reader, the reader, Derrida is dead. Now only the writing, remains, remaindered remainder, to carry the 74 of a life lived like an open book.

the writing remains in/of/with the remains of the writing

for something of lingering lingers with the lingering and yet it is not in the lingering that it lingers

Here there is no beyond text: il n'y a pas de hors-texte [he not there denies in a step he does not have a step beyond text there is no outside beyond text to be had there].

reminded that Spivak gives a double translation.. nothing outside of the text; no outside-text

which hints at another... no outside of the text
