CWG received a grant from the Consortium on Race Gender and Ethnicity to develop a research interest group around the topic of difference in/and cyberspace. One of the goals of the grant is to sponsor a series of roundtables on campus where people can gather and discuss their own research and/or relevant texts pertaining to various aspects of the topic, an example being the ways in which cyberspace complicates the reproduction of race. Out of the fruit of these roundtables, the research interest group will coalesce and then go on to create-- in collaboration with the Mini-Center for Teaching Interdisciplinary Studies of Culture and Society-- a series of online teaching modules.

If you are interested in helping to organize the roundtables, topics, and subsequent design of the teaching modules, please contact us.
