Abstract

Padprints is a companion to web browsers. In a previous study, it was shown to be a better history mechanism than those currently in popular browers. The purpose of this experiment is to determine which visual cues played a role in its success. The two treatments were images only and web title only. We hypothesied that image only would produce quicker response times. To measure response times we asked users questions where they had to re-visiting web pages.
