Comparison of Photo Library Programs

Appendices

A. Experimental Materials

1. Introduction

Welcome to our experiment. The goal of this experiment is to determine the ease of finding a photo in a collection.

First, you will be asked to fill out a background survey.

You will then be given a 10-15 minute training period for the photo library program that you will be using.

For the experiment, you will be given a set of five tasks. These tasks will vary from finding a photo in a collection to finding a photo within collections, and finding a photo using a description or a photo hardcopy. Please do each task one at a time. Each task will be timed.

When you are done with the five tasks, you will be asked to fill out a subjective survey to help us understand how easily the photo library program worked for you.

Thank you for your participation.
